PLUGS

Standard power outlets in Curaçao supply 110-130 volts at 50Hz. The standard plug type is the two-prong Type A power plug used in the US. Some devices are designed to operate on both 110V and 220V, but check first. It is advisable to bring a plug adapter for other plug types, although these can also be purchased on the island. Some hotels and apartments have 220V outlets. These outlets are easily identified as they require the standard European plug.
